I am a social media whore. Always have been. Yet I had held off adding an Instagram account until now for one simple reason; I hadn’t decided how to make specific use of it. Instagram, just like every other social media platform, has certain strengths, but what you don’t want are pictures of me, my kids and my last meal.
That just changed. I’ve added an account and will be using it specifically to capture and share images that I think can serve as inspiration for specific scenes in my current – and future – books and short stories. As such I’ve added a few hints of plot points and tagged characters that will feature in them. If they survive the development edit process, that is.
So – ‘vargas_fiction’ on Instagram is a go.
